BA Sociology with Statistics — First Class Honours

I studied Sociology because I wanted to understand how decisions made at a policy level land differently depending on who you are and where you live. My dissertation was on affordable housing — specifically the gap between how housing policy is designed and what it actually does to people’s lives.

A First Class sociology degree with a statistics component is a research and analysis credential. It means I can read a complex document, identify what’s actually being argued, and write clearly about it. Those habits travel well.

The housing interest hasn’t gone away. It’s part of why I take property management and compliance work seriously — these aren’t abstract industries to me.

I also hold an Accredited Certificate in Politics: An Introduction from the University of Oxford.
